Bestweb is an easy to customize, usenet style threaded discussion forum script with multiple language, multiple forum support.
The new 2004 version is almost a rewrite, utilizing users selected language, lay-out plus instant messaging service.
It also has auto archiving, optional email notification, optional picture/URL submission features. The new admin section includes message moving, and poster IP lookup features.
Betaboard is a discussion board where threads are listed in an indented tree. A fixed number of threads is listed per page, all threads are in one sequence. Message categories can be filtered. The board is 100% skinnable. A XML meta language is converted to HTML by a tag based definition file.
The display is similar to Slashdot.org discussions in "Nested" mode
