This is a menu-based template program written in PHP. It first reads the content of a text file called "feature.txt" in an array. It then displays the content in a nice table and the name of the book becomes the link. When you click on the link to see the review, the program calls itself back and passes the name of the review file in the variable "load" to the called program. The beauty of the script is that it doesnt matter how many books are there and you can add or remove any number of them without bothering about their order of appearance etc. All you have to do is edit the "feature.txt" file and remove or add the record containing the book. Also, since it is template-driven, the user can concentrate on content building without bothering about changes in the program.
Midgard Lite is an experimental version of the Midgard Content Management Framework written in pure PHP (no compiling required). It can be used in reasonably secure enviroments to display Midgard-based sites, where using CGI or unmodified PHP Apache servers is the only option. Examples of such environments include hosted servers and Windows systems.
MIFAIN is an online website compiler. It is written in php3 and needs no database. It takes data from a csv file (a portable spreadsheet format). Generates static or php pages depending the need. Themes can be customized. With its current configuration, it generates a web site that sells products with uniform prices (for example: every CD for 8 Euros and every DVD for 13 Euros, etc.). But the generated site can be extended by created "builders" (see examples).
